for its customers. With the high demand for custom MMI (man machine
interface) computers, Panelmountpc.com is offering custom touch
screen overlays directly to customers and OEMs.
The custom
overlays can have virtually any size, shape or color keys or icons
to accomplish a meaningful operator interface. Panelmountpc.com
sales manager says, "This allows the operator interface to
match the application on the machine. We can work around the customers'
application instead of offering a standard keyboard. For example,
to start an application it would read "Start" not F1.
This flexibility will help us provide a better solution to our
customers."
Three standard
overlays will be offered with each product or custom overlays
can be ordered with the 10.4", 12.1" or 15.0" LCD
screens.
